An awareness on Child Safety program was conducted for the students of class VIII and X on 4/1/24.
Mr. Dhasarathan, Child Welfare Officer from Ambattur Police Station was addressed the students. They were brief about Cyber Safety, Abduction, Harmfulness of the Drugs and POCSO Act. The students were educated to use the Cyber Safety Helpline number 9130 and the KAVALAN App during abnormal and emergency situation.
Through the interaction the student gained knowledge on how to be safe from the strangers, harmful drugs and malicious websites. They got awareness on POCSO Act and its procedure.
